The General Conference is the organization that provides structure and continuity for all entities that bear the name The Methodist Episcopal Church.
By design, the General Conference avoids a centralized form of government, respecting the autonomy of the local churches and Local Conferences. Business is conducted at General Conference by delegates elected by each Local Conference.
Hearth Fellowships is a very special conference that has been commissioned by the General Conference to provide encouragement, nurturing guidance, and leadership to the local House Fellowships and House Fellowships of the Methodist Episcopal churches.
The Lonestar Conference provides encouragement, nurturing guidance, and leadership to the local Methodist Episcopal churches within the state of Texas and other areas appointed by the General Conference.
The East African Conference provides encouragement, nurturing guidance, and leadership to the local Methodist Episcopal churches, House Churches and Fellowships within the Eastern regions of Africa and other areas that have been appointed by the General Conference.
